ATV/UTV Tire Information & Highway Use Disclaimer
These tires are designed primarily for ATV/UTV and off-road use. Because ATVs and UTVs are not classified as motor vehicles manufactured primarily for use on public roads or highways, there are currently no Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) or DOT certification requirements applicable to ATV/UTV tires.
Many ATV/UTV tires follow the Tire & Rim Association’s NHS (Not for Highway Service) design standard. NHS-designated tires are intended primarily for off-road use but may be suitable for limited or incidental on-road operation where permitted by local laws.
Some states and municipalities allow ATV/UTV operation on public roads; however, tire requirements vary by jurisdiction. Customers are responsible for verifying local and state laws regarding ATV/UTV road use and tire requirements prior to operation on public roadways.
Government UTQG treadwear, traction, and temperature ratings do not apply to ATV/UTV tires.
WARNING: Serious injury or death may result from improper tire mounting, underinflation, overloading, or misuse. Tires should only be mounted by qualified professionals. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s load, inflation, and fitment recommendations. No tire is indestructible, and impacts or improper use may result in tire failure.
