Step 1: Mount side plates (see diagram A)
Important: the lower round hole must always be towards the front.
Important: Mount Loosely. These will have to be adjusted later.
Step 2: Measure overall outside width side-to-side
If ROPS is over 36", mount tubes to the inside of the plate. (see diagram B)
If ROPS is under 36", mount tubes to the outside of plate. (see diagram C)
If ROPS is over 42", mount tubes to the inside of plate. (see diagram B)
If ROPS is under 42", mount tubes to the outside of plate. (see diagram C)
Step 3: Level bracket assembly even with the top of the ROPS, side-to-side, and parallel to tractor frame (diagram D)
Step 4: Securely tighten (8) 1/2" flange nuts.
Step 5: Place sunshade onto tubes and level. Stand off from front of tractor and visually check front edge level to rear.
IMPORTANT: Position sunshade with exterior decal towards rear of tractor.
Step 6: With sunshade positioned full forward, center side to side.
Step 7: Starting in either rear corner, using rear tube hole as a guide, grill 3/8" hole through sunshade
Step 8: Insert and assemble mounting hardware loosely (diagram E)
Step 9: Reposition sunshade and afix other rear corner hardware.
Step 10: Finish the front mounting points and secure all four corners.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT overtighten. The mounts are designed to "float" in rubber. Only secure enough to slightly "bulge" the isolator pad with the lock nut fully on threads. (diagram E)
