The Farmboy is a versatile 3-point hitch system that works on Kubota RTVs using only the original dump bed hydraulics. It can easily be attached to either the front or the back of your RTV to maximize its utility. It can be used to attach your planter, cultivator, watering system, seeder, lawn de-thatcher, arena conditioner, snow plow or one of many 3-point hitch attachments that previously could only be used by a compact tractor.
The Farmboy comes fully assembled and can be easily taken on and off your RTV in less than 15 minutes with no changes necessary to the already existing equipment. The Farmboy is fastened to the RTV with a standard 2 inch receiver, as well as two additional main clamp devices, which hook up to the cross member on the frame. TheFarmboy's hydraulic cylinder hooks directly to the hydraulic ports on the rear of the RTV.
The Farmboy is capable of supporting Category 0-1 attachments with a lifting capacity of 800 lbs. The additional clamp devices bear 90% of the load, relieving the hitch of a majority of the strain, while also compensating for side-load pulling.
In addition, the Farmboy has hydraulic down pressure, which is a unique feature not found on typical 3-point hitch systems. For examples, with the standard planter you can no-till plant and use the down-pressure for de-thatching lawns.
Do not exceed 275 lbs on the front end of the Kubota RTV when using the Farmboy 3-Point Hitch.
